Засгийн газрын тогтоолоор Монгол улсад 2023 оны байдлаар хамгийн эрэлттэй мэргэжлүүдийн жагсаалт гарчээ. Уг тогтоолоор Монгол Улсыг хөгжүүлэхэд шаардлагатай дээд боловсролын тэргүүлэх 83 мэргэжил, дээд боловсролын хамгийн эрэлттэй 38 мэргэжлийг баталсан байна.
Тогтоолоор баталсан тэргүүлэх болон эрэлттэй мэргэжлийн чиглэлээр их, дээд сургуульд суралцагч элсүүлэх тоо, элсэлтийн босго, сургалтын зээл олгох хяналтын тоог тогтооход баримтлах аргачлалыг боловсруулан баталж, мөрдүүлэхийг БШУ-ны сайд Л.Энх-Амгаланд даалгажээ.
Энэхүү жагсаалтын эхний 10 байранд багшийн мэргэжил оржээ. Багшлах боловсон хүчний хомсдол жил ирэх тусам хүндэрсээр л байна. Багш нарыг хамгийн бага цалингаар хамгийн том, чухал салбарыг үүрч яваа хүмүүс гэж ярьдаг.
