Зөрчлийн тухай хууль болон Зөрчил шалган шийдвэрлэх тухай хуулийн нэмэлт өөрчлөлт 2024 оны 01 сарын 01-ний өдрөөс мөрдөгдөж эхэлсэн. Зөрчлийн хуульд торгуулсан жолооч хуулийн хугацаанд буюу 15 хоногийн дотор торгуулиа төлбөл торгуулийн хэмжээг 50 хувь хөнгөлнө. Харин Зөрчлийн хуульд заасан 15 хоногоос хэтрүүлбэл торгуулийн хэмжээг 50 хүртэлх хувиар нэмэгдүүлэх зохицуулалт орсон. Хугацаандаа торгуулиа төлөөгүй тохиолдолд зөрчил шалган шийдвэрлэх эрх бүхий албан тушаалтан шүүхэд хүсэлт хүргүүлээд торгох шийтгэлийг нийтэд тустай ажил хийлгэх шийтгэл оногдуулахаар өөрчлөх боломжтой.

Хуулийн нэмэлт өөрчлөлттэй холбогдуулан Улсын Ерөнхий Прокурор, Хууль зүй, дотоод хэргийн сайдын хамтарсан тушаал гарч жолоодох эрхийг хязгаарлах, эрх бүхий албан тушаалтан шүүх болон эрх бүхий байгууллага хоорондын үйл ажиллагааг зохицуулах, мэдээлэл солилцох журам, эрх бүхий албан тушаалтнаас оногдуулсан торгох шийтгэлийг нэмэгдүүлж тооцох хугацаа, аргачлалыг баталсан. Мөн хуульд заасан хугацаанд торгуулиа төлөөгүй тохиолдолд тухайн тээврийн хэрэгслийг замын хөдөлгөөнд оролцох үед нь хязгаарлах, түр саатуулахаар журамд тусгаад буйг Тээврийн Цагдаагийн албанаас мэдээллээ.

Үүнээс гадна хуульд заасан хугацаанд торгуулиа төлөөгүй тохиолдолд тухайн тээврийн хэрэгслийг замын хөдөлгөөнд оролцох үед нь хязгаарлах, түр саатуулах журам батлагдсан. Тиймээс 12 дугаар сарын 01-ний өдрөөс техникийн хяналтын үзлэг оношилгоо, жолоочийн хариуцлагын даатгалд хамрагдаагүй тээврийн хэрэгслийг замын хөдөлгөөн оролцохыг хязгаарлана" гэв.
