УИХ-ын 2024 оны ээлжит сонгуулийн өмнө 26 жилийн өмнө гарсан эмгэнэлт явдал болох С.Зоригийг хөнөөсөн хэрэг “хүчтэй” яригдсан. Тухайн үед УИХ-ын гишүүн, Дэд бүтцийн сайдын үүрэг гүйцэтгэгч байсан С.Зоригийг 1998 оны аравдугаар сарын 2-нд гэрт нь хөнөөсөн хэргийн талаар ингэж яригдсан нь санаандгүй зүйл, эсвэл сонгуулийн өмнөх улс төр биш бололтой. Хууль хяналтынхан энэ хэргийн мөрөөр нэлээд лавхан орчихсон юм байна.

Хэрэгт 26 жилийн турш тасралтгүй мөрдөн шалгах ажиллагаа явуулсан боловч ийнхүү анх удаа ДНХ мэдээлэл шинээр тогтоогдож байгаа юм. Энэхүү ДНХ мэдээлэл нь урьд өмнө С.Зориг агсны хэрэгт холбогдуулан шалгагдаж байсан бусад хүний ДНХ мэдээлэлтэй тохироогүй. Өөрөөр хэлбэл, ДНХ мэдээлэл нь хэнийх болохыг тогтоох чиглэлээр хамтарсан ажлын хэсгийнхэн мөрдөн шалгах ажиллагааг үргэлжлүүлэн явуулж байна” гэж мэдэгдсэн.
